On this page you will find recordings that I have transfered from version formats such as cylinders, and disc records from my private collection. I started collecting when I was 12 years old, discovering the 78rpm records belonging to my great grandfather that had been stored in my parents loft for many years. Two years later I found an Edison 2 minute gold moulded cylinder at an antiques shop, and this is what got me hooked onto the cylinder hobby.
Here is my
homemade Electric cylinder Phonograph playing a late 4 minute Blue Amberol
cylinder from 1929 'Happy days Lonely Nights'.
This machine started life in 2016 and enables us to preserve these fragile
cylinders of recorded sound.

imagination thinking of different concepts to transfer cylinder electrically.
Since 2017 the dream has turned into reality.
