STOURBRIDGE BRANCH - FEBRUARY 2017

Malcolm's Report for January & February

Although the attendance at the first meeting of 2017 was not so great as the December 2016, there were enough to make it a good evening which the Stourbridge Branch has always been noted for, with a great variety from everyone. The second meeting of 2017 was also well attended with more than the first. I am full of praise for all the performers and for Chris (from the Ashwood) for the hospitality, and David and Christine for the PAS equipment and Matthew for providing the backing and Jonathan adjusting the microphones, along with Christine and Lynn for taking photos for our website, also our resident poet laureate Blake May for making his poems fit the George Formby tunes and also everyone who attends.  Finally as many will know The Friends of the Dudley Hippodrome have the keys and there will be a lot of work going on to clear the building before contractors move in.  To finalise, one or two who attend our meeting are not very well., so all of us from the GFS Stourbridge Branch wish them all a speedy recover and trust everything will turn out nice.
